Congratulations your Wedding planning!

Wedding planning
What I would do would be to invite them and let the parents decide. Personally, if I had young children and had an invitation to a wedding/reception such as yours, sunset with evening reception. I would get a sitter and just have it be me and my husband. Especially given the distance. Some guests may bring their kids, though, if they are mature. Again, I would invite them and leave it up to the parents.
Good luck! It sounds very romantic and beautiful!

Have the Wedding planning you want guests will either bring their children or get a sitter. Weddings are (knock on wood) a once in a lifetime event and should really be what you and your sweetheart want and will remember fondly. Some children will be too young for the event/hour, but others will be just fine, their parents/guardians will work out what is best for them.
blessings.

Wedding planning?

Wedding planning?

You planning on having my wedding at sunset on the beach. The day you planning, the sunset is supposed to be at 8pm. Your inviting adults and children to the wedding, but will people want to bring their kids to a sunset wedding and evening reception? BTW, the wedding location is about a 2-3 hour drive for most people attending.

What I would suggest you do is to hire a nanny/babysitter or two for the evening. Since you are hiring a house dedicate a room in the house to the kids. Have a tv, some colouring books and toys and lots of matresses. Rent some kids movies, give them each a goodie bag specially for them. Then let your guests with small children know that this service is available to them. This way the children will be out of your way and not screaming and running around during important times in your evening, and your friends and family will be able to relax knowing their kids are being looked after and are closeby for them to check on.
